Anemones should be planted in fall for an early spring bloom, especially since the summer heat will significantly reduce the number of blooms they produce.
Before planting soak Anemones for 4-6 hours and notice them swell up. After planting, water well and leave it to rest until the first green leaves appear. Once you have foliage, water periodically so it does not dry out.
Anemones are wonderful cut flowers, they can last up to 10 days in the vase. Harvest when still in the colored bud stage.
